These terms apply to your use of this website and to quotes and services from Twisted Oak Landscaping ("we", "us"). The specific terms of any job are confirmed with you in person or in a written agreement, which takes priority over this page.
Quotes
- Quotes are free and without obligation.
- A quote is based on what we can see of your property, in person or from map imagery, and on what you tell us. If conditions turn out to be different (for example hidden debris, access or drainage problems), we will discuss any change with you before continuing.
- Prices and details are confirmed with you in person or in a written agreement before work starts.
Deposits and payment
- Larger projects require a deposit before work is scheduled.
- We accept cash, cheque or e-transfer.
- Seasonal maintenance contracts are billed as agreed in your contract.
Scheduling and weather
Landscaping depends on the weather. We may reschedule visits for rain, snow, extreme heat or unsafe conditions, and we will let you know as early as we can. Seasonal services such as clean-ups are timed to the season and to your trees and plants.
Access to your property
- Please make sure we can reach the work area on the scheduled day: gates unlocked, and pets kept indoors or secured.
- Let us know about anything we should avoid, such as irrigation heads, invisible pet fencing, fragile features or hidden hazards.
Digging and underground utilities
Before any digging, utility locates are requested through Ontario One Call as required by law. Private lines that are not marked by a locate (for example irrigation, lighting cables or lines to a shed) should be pointed out to us before work starts.
Plants and living materials
Plants are living things. Their health after planting depends on watering, weather and care. We are happy to give care advice with every planting.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. Deposits for materials already ordered may be non-refundable; the terms for your job are confirmed with your quote.
Photos of completed work
We may photograph completed work to show on our website and social media. We never show house numbers, people or personal details without your permission, and you can ask us not to use photos of your property.
Promotions
Discounts and offers apply as described in the offer and cannot be combined unless stated. A "first 50 bookings" offer applies to the first 50 confirmed bookings of that service in the season.

We work to keep the information on this website accurate, but it is general information and not a quote. Photos may include representative images. Our privacy policy explains how we handle the personal information you send us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
