Twisted Oak Landscaping ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and how we protect it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

Quote requests: your name, phone number, email, postal code, the service you are interested in, your message, an optional budget range and any photos you choose to upload.
How you found us: the page you used, and ad or campaign details from the link you followed (for example, which ad or search brought you here).
Technical information: basic information your browser sends, such as device type, used to keep the site secure and working.
Analytics and advertising cookies: only if they are enabled on this site, used to understand how visitors use it and to measure our ads.

Why we use it

To respond to your request, prepare your quote and provide the services you ask for
To contact you about your request by phone, email or text
To keep records of the work we do for you
To understand which pages and ads bring people to us, so we can improve them
To protect this website from spam and abuse

We will only send you marketing emails if you tick the separate box that allows it, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We never sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website. They process information only on our behalf:

Website hosting and databases (Hostinger, MongoDB Atlas)
Security, spam protection and photo storage (Cloudflare, including Turnstile)
Email delivery (Resend)
If enabled: analytics and advertising measurement (Google and Meta)

Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, where it is subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and tax obligations. Requests that do not become work are deleted or anonymized after 24 months.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to being contacted, by emailing [email protected] or calling (647) 881-2980. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Security

We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted access to customer records, and photos that are never publicly visible.
